HIGHLIGHTING the need for self-care despite the pandemic, a new beauty lounge launched its services in Cebu City.
Gorgeous Beau chief executive officer Gibi Luchavez said they aim to provide clients with world-class skin care as well as an overall pampering experience.
“Our goal is to be known not only locally but also internationally. We want people to know that Filipinos can also patronize their own brand not just other nationalities because our goal now is to support local,” Luchavez said.
Luchavez, 25, hoped that their clients would continue to support them. She noted that other businesses have shuttered due to the pandemic.
“We understand that people are staying at home and we want to be there for them when they decide to start their health care and beauty journey,” she said.
She assured that their beauty lounge is safe as they strictly enforce safety protocols.
“The area is exclusive and the space is big enough to maintain social distancing. Our staff is tested regularly, and they have complete personal protective equipment (PPE) like face masks, face shields and the PPE suits,” she said.
Clients are encouraged to book appointments in advance through their social media platforms and contact numbers, although walk-ins are also allowed.
The lounge, located on Gov. M. Cuenco Ave. in Banilad, also features Instagrammable spaces.
Luchavez said they offer cashless payment options like GCash and bank transfer as well as QR code contact tracing and UV disinfection lamps.
