LAWMEN have arrested the number 7 "priority target" drug personality in an anti-drug operation in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police said Tuesday, January 26.
The Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office identified the arrested suspect as Jayson Generoso Carpila, 23, the number 7 priority target in the town of Ipil, the province's capital.
Police said that Carpila was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 2:30 p.m. Monday in Purok Orchids, Poblacion village, Ipil.
Recovered from Carpila were some P5,000 worth of shabu, a motorcycle, and P500 marked money.
The police said Carpila was detained while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against him. (SunStar Zamboanga)
