HIGHLIGHTING the need for self-care despite the pandemic, a new prime beauty lounge launched its services in the metro.
Gorgeous Beau, located at 88th Avenue Cebu, aims to provide not only world-class skincare but an overall pampering experience to its clients.
"Our goal is to be known not only locally but also internationally. We want people to know that Filipinos can also patronize their own brand because our goal now is to support local," said Gibi Luchavez, chief executive officer of Gorgeous Beau.
Luchavez, 25, said even if other businesses are closing down due to the financial difficulties brought about by the pandemic, she hopes that their clients will continue to support them.
"We understand that people are staying home and we want to be there for them when they decide to start their healthcare and beauty journey," she said.
Luchavez assured that their beauty lounge is safe and exclusive to clients as they are strictly practicing safety protocol.
"The area is exclusive and the space is big enough to maintain social distancing. Our staff are tested regularly and they have complete personal protective equipment (PPE) like masks, face shields and the PPE suits," she said.
The lounge also features Instagrammable spaces for the aesthetic-loving clients and with its strategic location, market-wise, Luchavez said she looks forward to more clients in the area.
Clients are encouraged to book appointments in advance through Gorgeous Beau’s social media platforms and contact numbers, but walk-ins are allowed as well.
Luchavez said while she was envisioning the lounge, she was already planning for the future like offering cashless payment options like GCash and bank transfer, QR code contact tracing and UV lamps for constant disinfection of the place.
