'Top 4 priority target' nabbed in anti-drug sting

GOVERNMENT operatives have arrested a "top 4 priority target" in an anti-illegal drug operation in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported Wednesday, January 27.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Gilzen NiƱo Manese, Dipolog City police chief, identified the arrested suspect as Philip Carlo Franco Chua, 36, a resident of Olingan village, Dipolog City.

Chua was nabbed in a drug bust around 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, in Biasong village, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.

Confiscated from the suspect were P40,000 worth of shabu, P500 marked money, and P1,090 cash in different denomination.

Chua was detained while formal charges are set to be filed against him. (SunStar Zamboanga)
