THIRD District Representative Aurelio "Dong" Gonzales, Jr. led the inspection of the Tinajero-Talba Bridge in Bacolor town, Pampanga that will link the two farthest barangays of this once lahar-ravaged town.
Gonzales was joined by Mayor Diman Datu and Department of Public Works and Highways District Engineer Almer Miranda.
The 60-linear-meter bridge is one of the latest projects of the congressman for this town in a bid to rebuild major infrastructure projects to entice more residents to return.
“This is our commitment to the people of Bacolor that we aim to fully rehabilitate its infrastructure and public facilities,” Gonzales said. The lawmaker is known for authoring the Bacolor Rehabilitation Act that aims to rehabilitate the once lahar-ravaged town.
Gonzales bared plans for further developments in the town, as well as a planned housing program.
Datu lauded the congressman for his support including the facilitation of the construction of the new barangay hall and covered court in Barangay San Antonio.
