Sungduan: Donation for Kadayacan

AFTER a series of outreach projects in Cagayan and Lepanto, Manakayan, Benguet, the Rotary Club of Metro Baguio (RCMB) also reach out to Barangay Kadayacan in Maria Aurora, Aurora.

Recently, RCMB sent a supply of personal protective equipment (PPEs) to the community to ensure their health safety amid the continuous threat of the coronavirus.

The club also provided this far-flung area, which is a home of mostly Kankanaey and Bago tribe, an electric kettle, water manual pump, digital BP apparatus, non-contact thermometer, and mosquito lamp.

“We will continue to work relentlessly with local institutions to support their basic needs during these trying times,” RCMB President Jerry Chan said.

It may be recalled that the organization also sponsored the construction of the water system of the barangay two years ago. Now every household enjoys clean and potable water from their own faucet at home.

The project under the Rotary International Global Grant No. GG1754911 was made possible with RCMB’s partnership with the Rotary Club of Hadano Naka Japan.

May there be more projects to be implemented for those in need especially this time of the pandemic.
