WITH the retirement of three senior officials, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Debold Sinas said he has assigned 22 police officials to new positions.
Police Brigadier General (PBGen.) Nolasco Bathan retires today, January 31, 2021, as PNP Health Service director while Police Major General (PMGen.) Amado Clifton Empiso, director for Intelligence, and MGen. Joel Napoleon Coronel, director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), is set to retire from the police service on February 6 and 11, respectively.
“We are infusing new blood into the command structure to fill the void created by the retirement of some senior officials and ensure continuity of command,” said Sinas.
BGen. Luisito Magnaye will succeed Bathan while MGen. Dennis Agustin will be taking Empiso’s post.
Bgen. Albert Ignatius Ferro was designated as the acting director of the CIDG.
