A MANHUNT is on for a 51-year-old farmer who allegedly stabbed his wife and injured three other persons in San Jorge, Samar.

Police identified the suspect as Liberato Cabubas, a resident of Barangay Mo-boob, San Jorge.

The fatality was known as 40-year-old barangay health worker Jennifer Santiago, the suspect's wife.

Wounded were Ricky Labong, 46, farmer; Lolito Tamor, teacher; and Jose Tayam Jr., teacher.

Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect under the influence of liquor approached the victims on Friday afternoon, January 29, 2021, and without any apparent reason, stabbed his wife, Rosales, hitting her breast.

The suspect then stabbed the other victims, whom he came across while fleeing.
