San Luis town Covid-free anew

SAN Luis town has cleared anew all its active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases, making it the only virus-free town in Pampanga Sunday afternoon, January 31, 2021.

In its latest health bulletin, the local government reported that its last active case, a 20-year-old patient, was already sent home after being cleared from the virus.

The local government also noted that there are no suspect cases or person under monitoring in the town as of Monday, February 1.

In total, there are 84 confirmed Covid-19 cases in the town, 79 of which have recovered and three have passed away.

Mayor Jayson Sagum called on his constituents anew to continue observing all health protocols to maintain the town's Covid-19 free status.

"Let us be united in ensuring that our community, our families, and ourselves safe from Covid-19 especially that its new variant has already been detected in the country," he said.
