NEGROS Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson has expressed concern over the 41 call center employees who tested positive for Sars-CoV-2, the virus that causes the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Lacson said eight of the 41 employees of Transcom Business Process Outsourcing who tested positive are from Negros Occidental.
"They took public transport on their way home. We hope that it was not spread there," Lacson said, as he also pointed out that "Bacolod City is on top of the situation."
Meanwhile, the governor reiterated the standing protocol of the Provincial Government.
"Our protocol has been there from the very beginning. All those entering the province should show a negative test result. Bacolod has its own and the province has its own," he pointed out.
Lacson also reminded employees to check themselves when they wake up every morning.
"If you're not feeling well, do not report for work," he added. "We should be disciplined enough to know if we will go to work or not."
"Stay home if you feel sick," Lacson advised Negrenses.
