LAWMEN arrested one of the most wanted persons in Dipolog City, the capital of Zamboanga del Norte province, the police reported Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
The police identified the arrested suspect as Arnil Saraña Acyatan, 22, a fisherman.
The police said that Acyatan was nabbed in a joint law enforcement operation by personnel of Dipolog City Police Station and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) led by Police Corporal Adonis Overa around 2 p.m. Monday, February 1, in Sitio Bario Lapuk Riverside in Barra village, Dipolog City.
Acyatan has a standing warrant of arrest for frustrated homicide with P72,000 recommended bail and is listed as the number 10 most wanted person in Dipolog City, police added.
The suspect is now under the custody of Dipolog City Police Station for proper disposition, the police said. (SunStar Zamboanga)
