Ways to communicate love this Valentine’s Day at AyalaMalls Central Bloc

LOVE can be communicated in various ways, from hand holding to surprise dinners. Gary Chapman theorized the different ways to express love as the “Five Love Languages”: words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time and physical touch. Expressing love may vary from person to person, but it is essential to know a loved one’s love language to improve that relationship.

For Valentine’s Day, Ayala Malls Central Bloc has prepared various activities centered on the Love Languages to help one celebrate the special day with loved ones. Here are some of the ways one can show and communicate love this Heart’s Day:

Receiving gifts: Keeping it sweet and classic

Sweet treats and fresh blooms have always been Valentine's Day staples and they never go out of style. One can surprise his other half with the tried-and-true bouquet of roses from Kalidades on the ground floor, and show his love in the sweetest way with a box of chocolates.

More gift ideas can be found at the Love Blooms Exhibit located at the Corte, on the ground floor and second floor, near Dara until Feb. 14. Specialty gifts for one’s Valentine are also available at the Love Market located on the ground floor throughout February.

Quality time: Enjoying a hearty meal

One of the best ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day is to eat delicious food with the company of loved ones without the distractions. Whether it is breakfast in bed or a romantic dinner for two, one can make the day extra special with flavorful meals from his favorite restaurant.

Mallgoers can know and dine by their love language at Stop Bite located at the Activity Center throughout February. There’s nothing more romantic than ending the day dining under the stars with one’s other half. For a romantic dinner date, couples can dine al fresco at 10 Dove Street, A Little Tea, Ambiance, Banapple, Boy Zugba, Chachago, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Gerry’s Grill, NY Buffalo Brad’s, Sachi Ramen and Wingers from Feb. 12 to 14.

Words of affirmation: Communicating creatively

Making personalized gifts is a unique and heartfelt way to show love and affection. Plus, they make great keepsakes too. One can unleash his creativity and give loved ones a present literally made from the heart like a handwritten letter, song, playlist or even a poem.

Acts of Service: Expressing love through labor

It is possible to let actions speak louder than words through thoughtful gestures. This season of love, one can dedicate time and effort in showing his Valentine he cares by making sure to celebrate love month safely. Digital date nights can be made extra special with Sachi Ramen’s DIY kits, located at Food Choices on the fourth floor, available from Feb. 1 to 15.

Lovers will be serenaded by the country’s leading acoustic band MYMP at their Online Valentine’s Show, streaming at Ayala Malls Central Bloc’s Facebook page on Feb. 14 at 6 p.m.

One can feel the love and be inspired by heartwarming quotes written and contributed for Love Lines, which will be displayed around the mall from Feb. 10 to 28. One can also surprise his loved one with an exclusive playlist keychain with the Heart Beats promo. To get a keychain, one simply has to drop by the concierge from Feb. 8 to 14 on the ground floor near Regatta and Adidas and present a P500 single receipt from any AyalaMalls Central Bloc food and non-food outlet (excluding grocery receipts) or when one shops through ANA.

For a hassle-free Valentine’s Day shopping, one can tap Ayala Malls Neighborhood Assistant (ANA) and have items delivered right at his doorstep. To shop with ANA, one may contact 09564261692 on Viber or @ANACentralBloc on Facebook Messenger.
