THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued a yellow warning level in Central Cebu at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 8, 2021.
This means that residents in the area can expect a rainfall amount between 7.5 mm and 15 mm within one hour. This will likely continue in the next three hours.
The same warning tells residents that flooding is possible in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous areas.
At the same time, Pagasa issued an orange warning level in Northern Cebu.
Within these areas, expected rainfall is between 15 mm and 30 mm.

Pagasa also issued a red warning level in Leyte, Southern Leyte, Eastern Samar, Samar, and Biliran.
