THREE days from now, it's Valentine's Day once again. For those who are in a relationship, this is the day when they get to express their love and affection for their special someone. The celebration of this day may have become commercialized with the giving of gifts, going out on dates, and other fancy ways to spend Valentine's Day, but it doesn't mean that we cannot do it in the simplest way possible.
However, there are those who are not in a romantic relationship at the moment, and some may fret about the fact that they are "lonely" being single on this day. Well, to those who are worrying about not having a boyfriend or girlfriend yet, I just want to reiterate what Catherine a.k.a. Alex Gonzaga said in a recent vlog uploaded by her sister Toni Gonzaga.
In the said video interview, Alex and Mikee Morada sat down with Toni for their first intimate chat as a married couple. What was truly inspiring from the said vlog was when Alex recounted her past heartaches before meeting her husband Mikee. Alex said:
"Wala akong ka idea idea na na there's this man na pinaplantahan pala ni Lord na this girl is for you, this is the woman for you. Nung sinabi ko Jesus, naiinis na talaga ako, asan na ba yung para sa 'kin? I stopped. Then Mikee came."
"Tuwing marerealize ko na kasal na kami, Mikee is the biggest testament sa buhay ko aside from my subscribers that God really answers your prayers and meron siyang hinanda para sa akin. So sa lahat ng mga single o mga nagiging hopeless na. Kung single kayo ngayon, make the most out of this singleness. Palaguin niyo yung pansarili niyo, kasi hindi niyo alam like me, behind the curtain, God is really preparing someone for you. At kung hindi ka nagpe-prepare right now that you're single, baka matagalan pa ang pagbigay sayo. Kaya right now, magprepare ka na...Madalas gusto na natin ng outcome pero yung preparation to have it hindi natin ginagawa so isipin niyo ano ba ang gusting ipa prepare sa akin ni Lod kasi pag tamang tama na ang panahon, dadating yan."
By the end of the vlog, Toni added: "Dati iniisip ko, sino kaya magmamahal kay Alex because she can be too funny, too naughty, or too crazy at times and then I realized you can never be too much for the right person because he will never see you the way others see you. He looks at your soul and sees your heart. Ganyan ang tunay na pagmamahal, hindi ka babaguhin pero yayakapin ka ng buong-buo. I am so happy for my sister because she finally found her forever."
