Lawmaker's chief aide commits more support for village in San Fernando

THIRD District Representative Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales, Jr.’s chief-of-staff and daughter Alyssa Michaela Gonzales committed his father’s support for the clamor of Barangay Pulung Bulu for its own internal revenue allocation.

This as the barangay is still dependent on the City Government of San Fernando with only a meager P2.5 million allocation.

“Our dear Congressman Dong will look into the possibility of legislative action so that our officials here in the barangay could better serve their constituents through the necessary funding,” the younger Gonzales said.

The younger Gonzales was in the barangay for the inauguration of the new covered court for Pulung Bulu Elementary School. The chief-of-staff also noted that Gonzales has been instrumental in the much-awaited P116-million allocation for the engineering works on Sapang Maragul which will protect this village from flooding.

Congressman Gonzales had earlier expressed hope to connect the barangay through a road link directly to other barangays of the city like Malino and Panipuan.

Currently, direct access to the barangay is through Angeles City. Gonzales is now working on the possibility of the road.
