ANGELES City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. said the people of Angeles deserve easier access to quality health services.

The mayor assured the implementation of public health programs when he led the distribution of dental chairs, medicine supplies and medical equipment for Rural Health Unit (RHU) 6 in Barangay Pulung Cacutud.

Lazatin was assisted by personnel of the Gender and Development Office headed by Mina Cabiles.

"Now more than ever, we must ensure the health of our kababayans. With a continuous supply of free and readily available medicines to all our RHUS in the 33 barangays, Angeleños residents are able to boost their immune system, thus increasing their fighting chances against the Covid-19," Lazatin said.

Aside from the RHUs, residents may also avail themselves of the free medicine at the City Hall's Medical Dispensary Unit.

To date, a total of 13,301 different kinds of medicines were distributed to the six RHUs and 28 sub-health centers, and 9,176 medicines in the City Hall Medical Dispensary Unit.
