Angeleña to showcase city culture in Mrs. Philippines World 2021 tilt

AN ANGELEÑA beauty is set to showcase the arts and culture in Angeles City as she represents Pampanga during the Mrs. Philippines World 2021 pageant.

Shirley Garcia, 48, a native of Angeles City, recently held a photoshoot for the pageant at the Culture and Arts Council of Angeles (CACA) where artworks and gowns personally made by local artists are being exhibited.

Garcia is known as a gym enthusiast, a fitness instructor, a personal trainer, and a businesswoman.

Before joining Mrs. Philippines World 2021, she became a finalist for BodyCon5 2020. She was also a title holder of CenturyTuna SuperBods Ms. Angeles 2020.

Meanwhile, Angeleños are free to visit the CACA which houses the Salangi Ko Pu Art Gallery. The gallery is open from Mondays to Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr., is continuously thanking local artists and Angeleños who are showing their support to the city's culture and arts.

The City Government has joined the celebration of the National Arts Month this February as Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel supervises a line-up activities for the Angeles City Tourism Office led by Anneleen Antonio-Sugui, such as art exhibit, art tutorials and spoken poetry.
