THE PILIPINAS Obstacle Sports Federation (POSF), and the Obsztacle Sports Team has launched an indoor obstacle course at SM City Olongapo Central.

The indoor obstacle course aims to introduce obstacle sports, OS fitness and cross-training benefits to all sports enthusiasts and sustainability for a more vibrant and active community.

The obstacle box is a 12-in-1 obstacle box facility with eight obstacles with four exercise stations.

The POSF is the governing sports association for obstacle sports and obstacle course racing in the Philippines, while Obsztacle Sports Team is an Olongapo City-based active lifestyle community group.

The two groups conducted free obstacle box instruction, sports training, games and challenges and mini competition during the pre-event dubbed as “Learn to be a Ninja 101” from February 4 to 19, 2021.

The leader board event will be on February 20 to 21, 2021, which is the ninja obstacle-in-a box official competition.

“Anyone, whether able-bodied, para-athletes, youth and kids, seniors and masters can use the boxes,” POSF president Alberto Agra said.

“There will be a series of qualifying races from February until May and by June the federation will have five national teams, obstacle course racing (OCR) ninja, adventure racing, parkour and OCR and ninja for the para-athletes,” Agra added.

Aside from the obstacle box in Olongapo City, the federation has delivered and assembled boxes in Muntinlupa City, Laguna and Boracay.
