THE local government unit (LGU) in Magalang town, Pampanga, through its two rural health units, said it will resume the vaccination of children against polio and measles on February 26, 2021.
The town's Rural Health Units 1 and 2 said the vaccination is set to be completed by the said date.
Residents scheduled to acquire medical certificates for travel were advised that the rural health center is closed during the said period.
"Sa lahat po ng manlalakbay na nangangailangan ng medical certificate, nais po naming ipabatid na sarado ang health center sa February 26, 2021 sa kadahilang kami ay iikot sa mga barangays para tapusin ang pagbabakuna sa mga batang edad 0 to 59 months," the LGU said.
The two rural health units advised the public that their respective offices will be opened on February 25, which is the celebration of the Edsa People Power Revolution Anniversary.
"Kami po ay magbubukas sa Huwebes, February 25, 2021, kahit ito po ay isang holiday. Salamat po," the LGU said.
