FEBRUARY 25 came to be momentous not just for the nation with the observance of the 35th anniversary of the Edsa People Power Revolution, but also to the lives of two young couple Steven Sangcap Capistrano and wife Lailyn Natalio Pulgado Capistrano, who tied the knot before the civil wedding rites administered by Judge Abraham Bayona of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC), Branch 7, held at Acacia hotel function room, Reclamation Area, Bacolod City.

The two have voluntarily vowed, in their own free will, to love and serve each other for life, as destiny has entwined them to live together, under the legitimacy and lawfulness of the civil matrimony.

Steven, 25, is the eldest son of Scarlet Sangcap while Lailyn, 21 is the daughter of parents Elmo and Mary Jane Pulgado, all of Victorias City.

Steven vowed to love, honor and cherish Lailyn, his wife.

"We are best friends with unending happiness, always having our best time together. Let's solve life's mysteries together, one embrace at a time. I will hold you close, sit on your chair and ruin your sleep and make you aware of being alive. I'll be there, as frightened as you, to help us survive being alive. I love you beyond words which I will reflect it in my kisses, glances and in the years of our lives. You are my love and my light. I ask you to be with me always."

Lailyn vowed to her husband Steven to love him forever as she publicly proclaimed, "May my heart be your shelter and my arms, your home. Today, I commit my life to you as your wife. You are the love of my life and I promise to let you know it every day. I will take care of you, love you, and appreciate you every day. Today, on our wedding day, I will give you my deepest love and devotion."

The couple had a considerable number of principal male and female sponsors. Their best man was Joshua, brother of the groom and Iris Pulgado served as maid of honor.

The groomsmen were Alexander Palada, Joshua Balagosa, Kent Sangcap and Reymart Durias. The bridesmaids were Angela Nicole Jilardes, Glaiza and Kisha Pulgado and Sheila Mae Macasa.

The flower girls were Aleah Ibañez and Elyana Joe Therese Parcon. Junior bridesmaid was Daniela Sangcap and Gaiven Pulgado served as a covenant bearer.

The parents of the couple extended their sincerest thanks to those who came to be with them during the special and momentous day in the lives of the newly-wedded couple and their respective families and friends.
