A 42-YEAR-OLD farmer was arrested for having alleged marijuana plants in Arteche, Eastern Samar Thursday, February 25, 2021.
Police said the suspect, Jose Batinga, was seen watering the marijuana plants while they were responding to a report on illegal gambling activities around 7:30 a.m. in Barangay Carapdapan, Arteche.
Personnel of Arteche Municipal Police Station, led by Lieutenant Marlo Capate, confiscated two pots of suspected marijuana plants during the incident.
The suspect was brought to the station for proper disposition. (SunStar Philippines)
