Police nab individuals for drugs, quarantine protocol violations

EIGHTEEN individuals including three illegal drug suspects were arrested during the joint saturation drive operation (Oplan Galugad) of the City Police Station and Highway Patrol Group in Barangay San Jose, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on February 26, 2021.

The three illegal drug personalities identified as Jimmy Jerbacio y Querdo alias Jimmy, 32; Jemar Pinlac y Feliciano alias Mulong, 30; and Maric Manalili y De Guzman alias Lati, 31, of the said barangay were caught in the act repacking 27 small-sized sachets of suspected shabu into smaller sachets for eventual distribution.

They are now under the custody of the City Police Station together with other 13 quarantine protocol violators, and two wanted persons to face charges filed against them.

Meanwhile, 10 unregistered motorcycles were also impounded and were given tickets for their violation.

Police Lieutenant Colonel John Lopez Clark, San Fernando chief of police, said the department regularly conducts Oplan Galugad to eradicate illegal activities in the city and to consistently enforce the health protocols in every barangay. (PR)
