Power outage to hit 4 Pampanga towns

FOUR towns in Pampanga serviced by the Pampanga III Electric Cooperative (Pelco-3) will be experiencing power interruption on Saturday, March 6, 2021.

The towns of Sto. Tomas and Minalin, and portions of San Simon and Macabebe will be affected by the power interruption scheduled from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The power cooperative said preventive maintenance services such as testing of equipment and replacement of wooden poles to concrete, upgrading of power lines and cutting of trees along the posts and lines will be conducted during the said period.

"This is to ensure that the substations in the affected areas remain in viable condition and can provide the best service to our consumers," Pelco-3 said.

The electric cooperative asked for understanding from the consumers for the inconvenience.
