THIS world is filled with destructive and dysfunctional characters all mired primarily in a distorted bubble of self-interest. Each of us wired uniquely, brought up differently, and experiencing vastly different circumstances. Somehow the tribulations presented from life lead to a formation of a mindset that could either be generally cynical or optimistic.
As seemingly intelligent beings with so much capacity to absorb, it is ironic how we can act so foolishly and impulsively at times with our subjective principles and ideals. Human beings can be full of contradictions and hypocrisy. Most having a self-righteous notion of reaching some moral standard, but also failing many times of attaining such a standard.
We have strongholds and mindsets we stand on to pass ourselves off as decent members of society to feel a sense of acceptance and belongingness in the community, and yet we may be the first ones to fall short of those pseudo outlooks.
Human beings generate conflict and produce much unnecessary chaos and division due to some small-minded worldviews. At times, existence seems satirical and farcical due to the many stupidities of various individuals. At times, it can be lonesome and nihilism may eventually creep in.
Why we go through such a complex journey is still but puzzling at times, there are seemingly many unneeded nonsensical aspects in our day-to-day interactions and it is difficult to draw the line on what is truly essential.
Oftentimes, life seems nothing but a ruthless and performance-oriented game of survival where we play various roles to advance a self-directed agenda. Many challenges present themselves internally and externally throughout. Mostly in the many personalities we encounter and the paradigms we find ourselves in.
At times, they can be wildly overbearing as we truly feel pain and sufferings which captures our humanity to the core. But it may be in the raw pain and suffering where real strength can grow and gratification can truly happen.
While the journey has its many surprises and ups and downs, some meaningful and some empty, it is sometimes difficult to orient ourselves properly with all of the clutter in a noisy and chaotic world.
We can simply aspire to play our special and distinctive roles with a clear and bright perspective to course through all the uncertainties and unforeseen occurrences that have yet to occur. Hope, zest, and hunger are all critical factors to get by this bizarrely complicated adventure.
