THE City Government of San Fernando, through the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), is strengthening its capacity on disaster response as it is augmenting additional personnel from the City's different offices.
The augmentation commenced on February 27, 2021 at Heroes Hall where the personnel underwent a basic disaster response seminar and training under the CDRRMO forces.
Included in the roster of discussions were the Introduction to Incident Command System, Basic First Aid, and Basic Life Support while trainings on "lifting and moving" and "bandaging" also took place.
The CDRRMO said the personnel will be augmented should the need to conduct emergency/disaster response efforts, especially for grassroots-based cases, arises.
The second edition of the said seminar and training will be on March 6. (City of San Fernando Information Office)
