24 new Covid-19 cases in Cagayan de Oro

CAGAYAN de Oro has recorded 24 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases, four of which are local cases with link, 12 are local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), and eight are local index cases, Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery reported.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus infections in the city is now at 3,824.

Of the 3,824 total Covid-19 cases in the city, 422 are under the returning overseas Filipino workers/locally stranded individuals (ROFs/LSIs) category and 3,402 cases are local transmissions.

According to Nery, the 3,402 local cases consist of 186 persons deprived of liberty (PDL), 1,800 local index cases and 1,414 local cases with link.

The number of active cases in Cagayan de Oro is at 199, of which 47 are admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city and 152 are outpatients.

The city also registered 10 new coronavirus-positive persons who are now tagged as "recovered," bringing the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 3,443.

Of the figure, 302 are LSIs, 119 are ROFs, and 2,022 are local cases (community: 2,572; Apors: 450).

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is at 182.
