71-year old man contracts coronavirus

A 71-YEAR-OLD man from Barangay Santa Cruz, Magalang town, Pampanga is the 205th Covid-19 case in this agricultural municipality.

He was confined to a private hospital for treatment and quarantine.

Aside from the senior citizen, the Municipal Health Office (MHO) also reported two new cases, as of Friday, March 5, 2021.

The three new patients had brought the total number of coronavirus cases in the town to 206, as of Friday.

The MHO also recorded six new patient recoveries and 11 active Covid-19 cases.

"Our 204th case or Patient M204 is a 34-year-old male from Barangay Sto. Rosario. He is the direct household contact of M196. He has been transferred to a government facility," the MHO said..

"Our 206th case or Patient M206 is a 28-year-old health frontliner from Barangay San Antonio. He is presently isolated in a hospital where he is employed. Family contacts are on home quarantine and being monitored daily."

The local government of Magalang is appealing to the public to follow minimum health standards set by the Department of Health to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
