Pangan: CPDO: The city’s think tank

THE City Government of Mabalacat is fortunate to have the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) headed by Rosan S. Paquia, EnP and staffed by thinkers/visionaries like Francis Foronda.

In a video presentation last Friday, March 5, 2021, Francis, with the guidance of Rosan, showed me the latest plans of the CPDO like the Atlu Bola by-pass road, which connects to the NLEX and the various projects on hand which called for participation of landed stakeholders/developers like R. D. Policarpio and Co., Inc., Hausland of Willie Tan and the Feliciano group which own large tracts of land in the area.

The Dolores-Clark connector road, fronting Mabalacat City College, has already been bidded out by the Clark Development Corporation and is funded by BCDA. The local government proposed a road project east of MacArthur Highway, connected to the said Dolores-Clark connector road, linking Barangay Cacutud.

There will be a rotunda at the Dolores-Clark connector road, thus further decongesting the traffic flow in the area.

If these projects push through, residents and motorists of the city will heave a collective sigh of relief as convenience is at hand.

All these have been conceived by the CPDO, which has earned plaudits and attention of even the Neda and other national government agencies and these are under the tutelage and guidance of the very proactive Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo.
