THE Angeles City Government has provided livelihood assistance packages to 330 women from its 33 barangays as part of the National Women's month celebration.

Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, together with Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel and Gender and Development Officer Mina Cabiles, spearheaded the livelihood distribution on March 17 at the Angeles City Hall.

Members of the "Kababaihan," solo parents, street sweepers, Persons with Disability (PWD), and indigent families were the beneficiaries of the pangkabuhayan showcase.

Manuel said the livelihood assistance, sponsored by the RMM Cold Storage and Meat Shop, consists of P1,000 worth of frozen products such as hotdog, tocino, longganisa and fries.

The livelihood package distribution is also part of Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr.'s goal of providing an alternative source of income for those who have been greatly affected by the pandemic.
