THE Army’s 1st Infantry Division (ID) has donned ranks to four newly promoted junior officers in a ceremony earlier this week.
Major General Generoso Ponio, 1ID commander, led the donning of ranks ceremony held at Camp Major Cesar Sang-an that houses the 1ID headquarters in Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.
Promoted to Captains were First Lieutenant Jeffrey Santos, First Lieutenant Rodelyn Rufino, and First Lieutenant Leobell Pacinos, while 2nd Lieutenant Gledan Marie Persia was promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant.
Ponio congratulated the four officers for their well-deserved promotions.
He advised them to work with passion and dedication in order to contribute to the attainment of the command's mission. (SunStar Zamboanga)
