JOINT police operatives rearrested on Saturday, March 27, 2021, the 33-year-old rape suspect who bolted out from Biliran Provincial Jail in Naval, Biliran.
Simeon Combate, who escaped around 12 a.m. Friday, March 26, was tracked by elements of Naval Municipal Police Station and Provincial Intelligence Unit around 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Barangay Sto. Niño of the said town.
Authorities also recovered a kitchen knife from the suspect when he was rearrested.
Combate was brought to Naval Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition. (SunStar Philippines)
