Inducted into office were Josefina Dela Cruz as president, vice president for Business Development Noe Buncalan, vice president for External Lloyd Macahilig, vice president for Internal Ma. Perivil Pereez, Corporate secretary Jun N. Aguirre, treasurer Paul John Mirto and auditor Raymond Atienza

The board of directors are Josephine Concepcion, Henry Villanueva, Ramel Buncalan, Cyril Morales, Lito Ang and Jose Mari Aldecoa.

Dela Cruz, who serves as the first female president of the PCCI, said that serving the organization is challenging, as all local entrepreneurs in Aklan are in the recovering process due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We should be united to raise our voices together for the benefits not only of our businesses but also to our employees as well," she said.

The PCCI also elected its new members.

Buncalan, an outgoing president, said he has already served the chamber for five years and that it is also important to pass the torch of leadership to the new generation of leaders. (SunStar Philippines)
