WITH the continuous increase of Covid-19 cases in the City of San Fernando, the local government extended help to families of those affected by the disease.

Last Thursday, April 1, and Friday, April 2, the Kalinga Unit of the Incident Management Team again shared relief goods to every neighborhood in the city with a family affected by Covid-19 and currently quarantined.

According to the group's record, the relief goods were first given to the barangays Lourdes, San Pedro, San Juan, Del Rosario, Maimpis, and San Jose.

The group will continue this activity in the coming days.

Meanwhile, a total of 35 new active cases of Covid-19 were recorded on April 4 in the city along with 41 recoveries. Overall, the number of active cases in San Fernando is 418.

Fernandinos have been urged by the local government to stay at home, especially if there is no important purchase or transaction outside.

And as cases of Covid-19 are increasing again in the whole province of Pampanga, the local government unit also called on residents to follow minimum health standards and infection control protocols, such as wearing of face mask and face shield, social and physical distancing, frequent hand washing and sanitation, proper way to sneeze and cough and following other instructions of Department of Health and City Health Office.
