TWO wanted persons, one of them a policeman, were arrested in separate law enforcement operations in the provinces of Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga Sibugay, an official announced Monday, April 5, 2021.
Arrested were Police Executive Master Sergeant Dominador Lozada, 52, the municipal executive senior police officer of Kumalarang Muncipal Police Station in Zamboanga del Sur and Ronnel Ayosep, 40, the top 3 most wanted person in the town of Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay, the police said.
Police Brigadier General Ronaldo Genaro Ylagan, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, said Lozada was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 11 a.m. Monday at Purok 2 in Poblacion village, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur.
Ylagan said Lozada has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of grave coercion with P30,000 recommended bail issued on March 25, 2021 by the 11th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Mahayag-Dumingag-Josefina.
He said Ayosep was arrested in another law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 10:30 a.m. Monday in Sitio Colundom in Bagong Buhay village, Alicia, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Ylagan said Ayosep has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of rape in relation of Republic Act 7610 otherwise known as Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act with no recommended bail issued on January 15, 2021 by the court of Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte.
