THE Angeles City Government has tapped three hotels to serve as additional isolation facilities to coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patients.
In a statement, the City Government has designated O Garden Hotel, Diamond Spring Hotel, and Sydney Hotel to serve as isolation areas for patients who are asymptomatic and with mild symptoms.
The three hotels have 106 rooms in total.
In relative development, the Hotels and Restaurants Association in Pampanga (Harp) has volunteered hotels under their group as isolation facilities.
"Just in case you will have relatives or friends who need an isolation facility for positive patients/asymptomatic patients, Harp is handling available isolation facilities," the group said in a statement.

Earlier, Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. has adopted Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda's Executive Order (EO) 5 in a bid to curb the growing number of Covid-19 patients in the city.
EO 5 enforces stricter quarantine in Pampanga province and Angeles City from April 1 until April 15, 2021.
EO 5 prohibits dine-in in restaurants, allowing only take-out orders; residents are not allowed to visit other houses; workers are allowed to leave their homes for work; and all religious gatherings are prohibited.
The EO also enjoins establishments to implement health and safety protocols, while individuals below 18 years old and over 60 years old, including pregnant women and those with comorbities, are directed to stay home except when obtaining essential goods and services.
Curfew hours from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and liquor ban are also part of the EO.
Also, non-Angeles residents are required to present a negative RT-PCR test not more than 72 hours before their entry to the city.
