PDEA, Customs to strengthen border control

THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Negros Occidental and the Bureau of Customs (BOC) will strengthen border control through the deployment of Narcotic Detection Dogs (NDDs).

The move was discussed Wednesday, April 7, by the members of PDEA-Negros K9 Unit during their courtesy visit to BOC Collector Renevic Soliman held at the Bureau of Customs Sub-Port of Pulupandan (Satellite Office) at Bredco Port, Reclamation Area, Bacolod City.

Discussed during the meeting were how to effectively work hand-in-hand in the suppression of illegal drugs smuggling and the prevention of the entries of illegal drugs in the Province of Negros Occidental, PDEA Negros in a press statement said.
