165 cops in Central Luzon contract coronavirus

THE number of active coronavirus (Covid-19) cases among Central Luzon policemen has continued to rise alongside the surge in infections in the region.

Based on the April 11, 2021 report of the Police Regional Office-Central Luzon's Health Services Office, the number of active Covid-19 cases among regional policemen has reached 165.

This was the highest number of active cases posted by the regional police since the pandemic started.

On Sunday alone, 11 new Covid-19 cases were reported by the Health Service Office, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 736.

The number of policemen who recovered from the disease was 570, while one patient died.
