THE Provincial Government of Pampanga received P2.6 million worth of medical supplies and equipment from quarry operators in a bid to help in the needs of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patients in Pampanga.

Quarry operators from Floridablanca, Porac and Mabalacat City presented the donations to Provincial Administrator Charlie Chua on Monday at the Capitol.

The donations included 300 packs of assorted medicines and supplies, as well as 35 pieces of oxygen regulators, intravenous stands, and oxygen stands.

The donations will be mobilized for the medical needs of Pampanga’s coronavirus cases. The latest report from the Provincial Government of Pampanga places the total number of active cases in the province to some 2,595 cases as April 14.

Most of the active cases are currently confined in the quarantine facilities of the province while those exhibiting severe symptoms are hospitalized in various coronavirus units of private and public hospitals in the province.
