ANG Department of Health (DOH) 7, uban sa Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas ug Project Balik Buhay, opisyal nang nilusad sa swab testing sa Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) ug Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) sa Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) sa international arrival area.
Si DOH-7 chief pathologist ug spokesperson Dr. Mary Jean Loreche nagkanayon nga ang free swabbing ug RT-PCR testing alang sa tanang OFWs ug returning residents arrivals sa international flights sa MCIA sukad niadtong Marso 31.
“This move to test upon arrival and for free unburdens the OWWA. (It) also (keeps them) from spending so much on their hotel stays,” matod ni Dr. Loreche.
“This is in response to the directive of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte for the fast-tracking of the testing and the release of results for the OFWs and returning residents,” sumala ni Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Secretary Michael Lloyd Dino.

“We hope this will continue to help decline our cases in Cebu, the whole of Visayas since MCIA is one of the major aviation hub,” dugang ni Sec. Dino.
Sa pagkakaron, dunay 11 ka testing booths sa international arrival area sa MCIA.
Si Dr. Loreche nagkanayon nga usa ka team gikan sa DOH 7 ang nakadestino sa paghimo sa testing sa nangabot nga mga pasahero.
Niadtong Abril 2, niabot na og 1,061 ang naatiman alang sa swab tests ug kini nagpadayon pa.
Matod niya, kadtong negatibo sa test, makauli na dayon. Apan ang magpositibo, itugyan sa local government unit (LGUs) Temporary Treatment Mega Facility and Isolation Facility.
