15,000 senior citizens in Cebu City register online for vaccination

ALMOST 15,000 senior citizens in Cebu City have registered online for the vaccination against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), according to Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs Executive Director Jeffrey Ocampo.

He said that during the house-to-house campaign, 10,000 individuals have agreed to be vaccinated and are currently being encoded in the online registration.

The vaccination of senior citizens started today, April 19, 2021, at the Robinsons Galleria and University of Cebu (UC) Banilad.

Senior citizens from Barangays Mabolo and Mambaling are first to be vaccinated.

On Tuesday, April 20, senior citizens living in Barangays Talamban and Banilad are scheduled to be inoculated at UC Banilad, while in Robinsons Galleria are senior citizens from Basak Pardo and Kinasang-an. (JJL)
