(Foreword: This is the continuation of our response to Carlota Ball on the problematic brown spots on her face)
DEAR Carlota Ball,
Moving on to the final stretch.
5. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera has healing properties and is especially good if you get those brown spots due to sun damage.
Here’s what you have to do:
a. Rub fresh aloe vera gel on those brown spots gently. Leave this for about 30 minutes before you wash it off with cold water. Repeat this twice a day for a month. You will eventually see the results that you want.
b. If you can’t get some fresh aloe vera gel, then, you can buy some aloe vera juice and dab them gently on those brown spots.
6. Calamansi juice
This is my favorite as you can find calamansi easily and so easy to do. Simply squeeze in a couple of calamansi and apply its juice on the brown spots and or other dark areas. Leave them overnight and rinse them off in the morning. Do this daily. You would need some patience – as this will take about a month to see the results.
Here’s the short cut. Add a tablespoon or two of sulfur powder and some drops of acetone with one calamansi. Then, mix them and make a paste. Apply this to the affected area for about 30 minutes to an hour before you wash them off. Do this twice a week.
In any of the recipes I mentioned, if you get some irritation, you have to stop them.
Good luck!
