92 Covid deaths in Central Luzon bring total to 1,659

SOME 92 more deaths in Central Luzon were recorded by the Department of Health (DOH) in the region, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,659 cases since the start of the pandemic.

Majority of the total deaths came from Bulacan, with 681 cases. The province also has the most number of confirmed cases at 29,161.

Pampanga has the second highest in death cases, with 432 and total confirmed cases 11,071.

Central Luzon’s fatality rate also rose to 2.20 percent.

The total number of confirmed cases in the region also continued to rise with 75,305 infections.

For April 22 alone, 963 cases have been recorded in the region.

The total active cases in the whole region are currently at 16.8 percent of all confirmed cases, representing some 12,680.
