FORMER President Joseph Ejercito Estrada is set to be discharged from the hospital after his battle with coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) for nearly a month, his son Jinggoy said on Monday, April 26, 2021.
“Our family is overjoyed to announce that our father will finally be discharged from the hospital today,” he said in a Facebook post Monday.
Jinggoy expressed gratitude to the medical workers who took care of the 84-year-old former president. He also thanked those who prayed for his father’s recovery.
“But most of all, we would like to thank our Lord Almighty for His love and guidance through all of this...Muli, maraming maraming salamat sa inyong lahat,” he added.
