PAMPANGA Sanggunian Kabataan (SK) Federation president and ex-officio Board Member Moshe Lacson of Barangay San Nicolas 1 and his fellow medical students led Saturday's (April 24) launching of the antimicrobial resistance or AMR campaign in Magalang.

The information drive, which was in cooperation with barangay and SK officials of San Nicolas 1, aims to inform the public on the right use of antibiotics and discourage self medication, which may lead to future “complications” and resistance to certain medicines.

He said the AMR information campaign will start in the barangay level to reach every household in Magalang and will eventually be reaching other villages in different towns of Pampanga.

He said the ASMPH 2023 LEC Group 12 also donated face masks and alcohol to the barangay in other to protect them from the virus.

Maraming salamat p okay Kap Wngyu David na tumulong at sumuporta sa programa," he said.

Lacson added that with the cooperation and support of all SK barangay councils in the entire province, he believes the information campaign will be a success.

Lacson also thanked Governor Dennis Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia Pineda and his fellow board members, Municipal Council and barangay council for supporting the program. (Chris Navarro)
