A TOTAL of 115 graduates of the Special Training for Employment Program (Step) received their starter toolkits from Firth District Representative Marilou Arroyo during the turnover ceremony held at their respective municipalities from April 20-21, 2021.

Step is Arroyo's project under the Technical Education and Skills Authority (Tesda).

She said the starter toolkits provided to the beneficiaries of Step can help them start earning after completing their training.

"After gaining skills from their training program, we are now providing them starter toolkits to help them jumpstart their livelihood and put into practice what they learn through the free training provided by Tesda. These toolkits will also help them start earning, which is the core intention of Step," Arroyo said.

The list of starter toolkits include electric oven and baking tools for Bread and Pastry NCII graduates, pull-push rule, crowbar, and other carpentry tools for Carpentry NCII, portable welding machine and grinder for Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NCI, frying pan, mixing bowls and other cooking tools for Cookery NCII, and towels, sphygmomanometer for Hilot (Wellness Massage) NCII.
