ABOUT 214 individuals who belonged to the A1.6 and A1.7 groups are getting fully vaccinated as the City Health Office in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga rolled out on April 27, 2021, its second dose of Sinovac vaccines.

These groups received their first dose of vaccines on the last week of March, wherein a total of 1,765 healthcare community members got inoculated.

On Tuesday, CHO also started giving first jabs of Sinovac vaccines to senior citizens or the second priority group. A total of 1,652 seniors were vaccinated after the three-day rollout.

At the moment, the local government is waiting for the vaccines from the national government so it can resume the vaccination rollout for 44,808 seniors in San Fernando who are willing to be vaccinated.

Meanwhile, Dr. Iris Rose Muñoz, National Immunization Program manager, reminded the vaccinated Fernandinos that they can still catch Covid-19 if they do not follow minimum health standards.

The LGU is also in talks with the Our Lady of Fatima University for the establishment of a second vaccination site that could cater to a greater number of Fernandinos. (PR)
