Sultan Kudarat most wanted arrested in Bacolod

THE most-wanted person and high-value target of the Philippine Drug Enforce Agency-Soccsksargen in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat was arrested by operatives of Regional Intelligence Division-Western Visayas and Police Station 3 in Gold Crest Subdivision, Barangay Bata, Bacolod City on Monday, April 26, 2021.

Police identified the suspect as Jesushua Pico, 26, of Barangay Bata.

Police Lieutenant Ma. Liberty Indiape, spokesperson of Bacolod City Police Office, said Pico was arrested by arrest warrant for violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Lorenzo Balo of Regional Trial Court Branch 19 of Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, with no bail recommended.

The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 3.

Meanwhile, a drug personality was also arrested in a drug bust by operatives of Police Station 6 on Lizares Street, Barangay 40, Bacolod City Tuesday afternoon.

Police identified the suspect as Nino Genesis, 27, of Meadows of Camelot Subdivision, Barangay Estefania.

The suspect was arrested after he sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover around 4:45 p.m.

Police recovered from Genesis’s possession six sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P6,800 and the P500 marked money.

The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 6. He will be charged for violation of RA 9165.
