Mexico village watchman nabbed for stabbing farmer

A VILLAGE watchman from Mexico, Pampanga was arrested by local authorities for allegedly stabbing a farmer.

The suspect, identified as Russel Pante, 47, a barangay tanod of San Patricio, allegedly stabbed Eleazar Guiao, a farmer from the same barangay.

The two allegedly had a heated argument due to traffic queuing, which resulted in the stabbing incident.

Guiao was then brought to the nearest hospital while Pante was arrested by responding bantay bayan of Barangay San Patricio and immediately turned over to Mexico town police.

A case for frustrated murder is being prepared for filing in court against Pante.
