Gidayeg sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang Cebu City Government sa maayo niini nga pagdumala sa pagpakigbatok sa coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Si Secretary Eduardo Año, sa DILG nipadala og suwat ngadto kang Mayor Edgardo Labella aron pormal nga ipaabot ang ilang komendasyon sa dakbayan nga usa ka higayon niana, nahimong sentro sa Covid-19 ang Cebu City.
“With your leadership and through the help of the national government , Cebu City was able to mitigate the spread of the disease by restructuring the City’s Emergency Operation sCenter ( EOC) ang implementing a centralized , coordinated, collaborated, synchronized and harmonized Covid-19 response strategy,” padayag ni Año.
Ang komendasyon sa kalihim sa DILG nagagumikan sa padayon nga pagkunhod sa aktibong mga kaso sa dakbayan sa Covid-19 gikan sa kapin sa 3,500 ka aktibong kaso niadtong Pebrero, karon aduna na lay 606 ka active cases nga padayong nagpaalim sa mga hospital, quarantine centers, barangay isolation centers (BIC) ug mga hospital.
Si Labella, sa iyang bahin, wala nihakop sa kredito, inay iyang gipasalamatan ang mga tawo nga responsable sa pagkakontrolar sa pagkatap sa Covid-19 sa dakbayan.
“My gratitude goes to the hardworking fellows in EOC and my fellow workers in government.Mapasalamaton sab ko especially sa atong mga frontliner ug Sugbuanon nga dako sab og natabang sa atong local Covid-19 response strategy, sama sa pagpatuman sa health protocols ug pagsunod sa directive sa EOC,” ni Labella pa.
Si Año nipadayag sa iyang suwat nga angay ipadayon sa Cebu City ang mga maayong gibuhat batok sa virus.
“May it also continue to improve its operation and lend assistance to other local governments that need additional knowledge and ss in restructuring its onw EOC,” dugang ni Año.
