World Boxing Organization (WBO) No. 2 ranked bantamweight “Magic” Mike Plania had a good activity fight before going to the US after winning by unanimous decision over Emmanuel Mogawa in the six-round main event of Sanman Promotions' “Three Kings" boxing show on April 30, 2021, at the Sanman Gym in Gen. Santos City.

All three judges scored the fight in favor of Plania with scores of 60-54 on all three scorecards.

Plania came into this fight from a long layoff. He last saw action on June 16, 2020, with an impressive unanimous decision over highly-regarded Joshua Greer Jr.

Plania looked as if he wanted the fight to last the distance as he toyed around with Mogawa, who was very aggressive.

Plania displayed his quick hands and impressive footwork by landing his crisp jabs, while evading Mogawa's haymakers.

In sixth round, Plania landed a vicious uppercut that landed flush on Mogawa's head. Plania did his best to score a knockout but Mogawa was tough as nails and survived the final bell.

Plania improved to 25-1 with 12 knockouts, while Mogawa dropped to 5-4 with two knockouts.

Plania will be flying to the US to train in Miami with Cuban coach Osmiri Moro Fernandez for a fight in the next few months.

International Boxing Federation (IBF) No. 3 rated Jayson Mama (15-0, 9 KOs) stopped Romshane Sarguilla (7-6-2, 4 KOs) in the eighth round in the main supporting bout.

Sarguilla's corner saved him from absorbing more punishment and stopped the fight at the break.

Jade Bornea (16-0, 11 KOs) outclassed tough Roland Jay Biendema (15-8-1, 8 KOs) by unanimous decision in a 10-rounder.

Bornea got the nod of all three judges with scores of 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91.

John Vincent (1-0) had a successful pro debut with a unanimous decision over Elizer Ambon (0-6) in the show's curtain raiser. (EKA)
